This section discusses how to exit a client and household members from a program.
Exiting a Client
To exit a client from a program, go to the Programs tab from the client’s record, mouseover the program name, and select the Edit icon that appears to the left. Once you are in the program edit screen, click the Exit button to the right.
If the client is scheduled for services that will occur after the program exit date, then these services will appear at the bottom of the Exit Program screen where you can conveniently close them.
This functionality is only available if the System Administrator has enabled the feature. Please confirm with your System Administrator.
Complete the program exit screen and, if appropriate, close any open services, then select Save and Close.
Note: If a client has no program activity for a prescribed period of time (e.g. no service transactions, assessments, etc.), this client will be automatically disenrolled from the program, depending upon the settings configured by the System Administrator. Please consult with your Supervisor for more details.
Exiting a Household
When exiting a household, the option to exit several household members will appear. Simply toggle the switch next to the member(s) you wish to exit. You can select all clients to be exited from the enrollment, or a smaller subset. Once you click the End Program button the clients you selected will display exit screens in sequence for each household member.
Complete the exit screen and click Save & Next at the bottom of the screen to move to the next client's exit screen record. When all are completed, the button will read Save & Exit.
Note: When Ending a program, if a client has any services that are still considered “active” (i.e., their end date goes past the current date), the user has the option to also conveniently adjust those services in batch so they can be addressed all at once when exiting the client from the program.
