Report Purpose & Summary
This is a weekly automated service-based report that serves as a seven day review of housing programs. The data for this report is taken from housing service transactions.
The following parameters are available to obtain targeted details in the [HSNG-105] Weekly Housing Census:
|Start Date||This date will reflect the date from which you would like to generate data.|
|End Date||This date will reflect the date you would like to stop generating data.|
|Report Format||You can select Web Page, PDF, or Excel. A Web Page is a functional format that allows you to drill down on data elements to inspect the underlying data supporting it. The PDF is a good option for official reports, grants, etc. If you download the excel file you can can use excel to manipulate the data (e.g. Sort/Check for duplicates, etc.)|
The report breaks down the services into the following sections:
- Emergency Shelter – Individuals & Households
- Transitional Housing – Individuals & Households
- Permanent Supportive Housing – Individuals & Households
- Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing – Individuals & Households
- Services Only Program – Individuals & Households
- Safe Haven – Individuals & Households
Each of these sections is divided into housing services with the corresponding number of beds for each service. The following information is provided for each service:
- Data Quality
These dates reflect the date of service. All dates within the reporting range will be listed regardless of whether a service transaction occurred on the day.
The attendance displayed is the number of clients that held a bed night in the listed service/service item for the corresponding day. The data for attendance comes from the service placements, as indicated in the screenshot below:
This information can be viewed and/or modified from the History tab. When in the History tab, select the Edit link that appears to the left of the service. This will take you to the History: Edit screen where you can view and/or modify the information:
Data Quality will always be 100% due to the fact that the Clarity system will not allow the user to save a screen with incomplete and/or missing data fields.
The Household Size section has drilldown functionality. When drilling down on each group (Individual, 2ppl, 3ppl, etc.)
It will list the head of household. For example, drilling down on the 2ppl shown in the above screenshot will show that client Greg Grant is the Head of Household for the selected 2-person household.
