Report Purpose & Summary
This report is a service-based report that provides an automated monthly review of Clarity participating housing programs for an entire CoC.
The following parameters are available to obtain targeted details in the [HSNG-104-AD] Monthly Housing Report – CoC Based:
|Choose a CoC||Select the CoC you would like to run the report against|
|Choose a month||Select a month within the last 6 months|
|Select Report Format||You can select Web Page, PDF, or Excel. A Web Page is a functional format that allows you to drill down on data elements to inspect the underlying data supporting it. The PDF is a good option for official reports, grants, etc. If you download the excel file you can can
use excel to manipulate the data (e.g. Sort/Check for duplicates, etc.)
The report breaks down the services into the following sections:
- Emergency Shelter – Individuals & Households,
- Transitional Housing – Individuals & Households, Permanent Supportive Housing – Individuals & Households,
- Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing – Individuals & Households,
- Services Only Program – Individuals & Households,
- Safe Haven – Individuals & Households
There are 5 data elements within each section:
|Service Name||This lists each service item and its associated agency|
|Service Item Name||Lists the service item name|
|Average||The average attendance displayed is the number of clients that occupied a bed on average on any given day in the report period|
|Data Quality (DQ%)||Data quality percentage for the service item. Data quality is based upon the amount of missing values.|
|Unique Clients (Unq)||Number of unique clients that used the service.|
(NOTE: A red “X” on the report denotes that no clients used the service during the report dates.)
Service Name & Service Item Name
The name for the service and service item are created when the these items are created in Manage-Services
The average column shows on average how many of the total beds were utilized each night. This data is taken from the service placements.
Because Clarity does not allow the user to save screens with missing values, the DQ% will always be 100%
The last column “Unq” shows the number of unduplicated clients that used the service during the reporting dates. The client information is taken from the Profile Screen.
Drilldown functionality is not necessary for this report.
