Report Purpose & Summary
This service-based report shows how many clients were placed into the selected housing service(s) for specified dates during the reporting timeframe.
The following parameters are available to obtain targeted details in the [HSNG-101] Housing Census report.
|Choose Services||This allows the report to be run for one or more Service/Service Item|
|Veteran Status||This allows the report to be run for clients that are or are not veterans or all clients.|
|Choose Start Date||This date will reflect the date from which you would like to start generating data|
|Choose End Date||This date will reflect the date you would like to stop generating data|
|Choose Report Format||You can select Web Page, PDF, or Excel. A Web Page is a functional format that allows you to drill down on data elements to inspect the underlying data supporting it. The PDF is a good option for official reports, grants, etc. If you download the excel file you can can use excel to manipulate the data (e.g. Sort/Check for duplicates, etc.)|
This report provides client totals for each date listed. Each client total corresponds with the amount of clients who received that selected service on that selected date. This information is pulled from service placements.
In the screenshot below, 17 clients were placed in the H2H Transitional Housing: Family service on 3/27/2013. A total of 91 clients were provided this service during the reporting dates of 3/21/2013 to 3/28/2013.
Notice that the Max Occupancy is also listed for each service (the Max Occupancy in the screenshot above is 30). The Max Occupancy number corresponds to the total amount of service placements available for this service on any given date. If the service is over-utilized, the date will be highlighted, as indicated below. (Max Occupancy is configured in Manage > Services > Service Items)
Located at the bottom of the report is a Grand Total that reflects the total amount of clients who received any of the services included in the report during the report dates.
NOTE - To modify inaccurate data from this report you can modify the corresponding service placement from the client’s History or from the Attendance tool.
Drilldown functionality shows which clients used the service on each given date. Each drilldown will provide the following information:
- Service Name
- Service Item
- Service Date
- Client Name
- Data Quality (both collectively and for each client)
- Responsible Staff Member
Data Quality is a measure of missing information. Thus, it will always be 100% because the system will not allow the user to save changes if any of the data fields are incomplete or missing.
