This section discusses Program Auto Service Placement.
The Program Auto Service Placement feature automatically assigns designated Program Assigned Services to clients immediately upon their enrollment into the program.
In the example below, the client Michael Greensmith was provided the ‘Shelter Beds’ Program Assigned Service immediately upon his enrollment into the Las Vegas Emergency Shelter program.
This did not require any additional steps from the staff member conducting the intake.
To establish Program Auto Service Placement, go to Manage > Programs, mouseover the Program Name, and select the ‘Edit’ link that appears to the left.

This will take you to the Modify Program Screen.
Scroll down to the ‘Auto Service Placement’ field and select ‘Enabled’ from the dropdown screen.
Next, scroll down to the Auto Service Placement section and select the ‘Add New Service’ link.
A popup box titled ‘Add a New Service Placement’ will appear, listing available services for your program. Select the service you wish for clients to be automatically provided upon enrollment.
Note that the services listed are taken from the services that are included in the Assigned Services section above. Program Assigned Services must be created before they can be selected for Auto Service Placement. After choosing the service, select ‘Add’. This will add the service to the Auto Service Placement list.
Next, enter the amount of days you would like the service to be offered. You can select up to 31 days. After the days expire, this service will no longer be available and the system will automatically discontinue them.
Be sure to select ‘Save Changes’ before exiting the screen.
Summary of Actions
During individual and/or group enrollment, a Summary of Actions popup will appear if Automatic Service Placement has been configured. This single scrollable page lists each program member along with a list of all automatic actions that were conducted on their behalf. This feature also applies to individual enrollment. NOTE: Default Program Goals will also appear on the Summary of Actions popup box.
